Manual de Fiore de Liberti

Hola foreros, donde podria encontrar el manual de Fiore de Liberti en PDF o similar,?

Se que hay un hilo ya con libros, pero o soy muy burro (lo mas posible) o el libro en cuestion no esta.

Tengo a medio preparar una llista de enlaces a las versiones disponibles en la red de los tratados de Fiore dei Liberi y de Philippo Vadi para colgar en esa tira de "algunos libros on-line". A ver si en unos pocos días la repaso un poco y la cuelgo.

PD: está en el primer enlace de todos de la tira "algunos libros on-line", solo que aparece con el nombre de "Flos Duellatorum", cosa muy correcta, pero desgraciadamente en el nombre del autor figura "Novati" que en realidad fue el editor que sacó el fac-simil gracias al cual nos ha llegado a nuestros días el manuscrito Pissano-Dossi, una de las tres versiones que existen de este libro de Fiore dei Liberi.

Hay que aclarar que esa versión del tratado de Fiore no aclara mucho las técnicas, para tener las cosas claras y saber interpretarlas es necesario la versión Getty.

Aunque faltan algunas ilustraciones y fallan algunos enlaces desde luego me será útil.

Donde hay fragmentos de las 3 versiones de La Flor de las Batallas, original y traducción al inglés. El problema es que están incompletas, pero junto con el de fioredeiliberi.org y la traducción al español de Francisco Uribe se puede sacar bastante.

A ver si hay suerte y en los próximos enlaces de Cockey están completas las versiones de Getty y Morgan.

Pues eso, muchas gracias por la respuesta. Los dibujicos con coronicas son Geniales jeje. Y los poemas tambien. En la version >Getty no se me ven las Ilustraciones!!! Maldito Windows (Hasefroch)

Otra traducción al español, esta vez limitada (por decir algo) a la parte de mano y media es la de Leonardo Daneluz, el herrero de la albiceleste. Está tal que aquí:

Por otro lado, ¿ qué libro actual sobre espada de mano y media según vosotros,por su sencillez, sus ilustraciones o por ser más fiel al "Flos Duellatorum" considerais más interesante?. Actualmente, estoy aprendiendo espada de mano y media en la sala de Alicante y echo de menos tener en casa unas buenas ilustraciones que me sirvieran como complemento a la clases prácticas de los sábados, por cierto, muy bien dirigidas por nuestro teniente de sala Pepe. Gracias

Actually we at the AEEA we work on both Fiore and Vadi (that is, with the longsword; with the rapier we work on the -surprise, suprise- spanish schools. But I you saw our partners at Dijon, you already knew that), but from time to time a krumphau or shietelhau slips into the bout from nowhere

As I have seen at your web's gallery, you practice with steel and wasters and fight with shinais. How do you fare with that scheme? I mean, you know shinais are dammed light, and in the heat of the combat you end up doing things imposible to do with a steel sword. Your views, mate?

I am sorry my Spanish is not good.

We use everything we can do to improve our skills, but your point is very valid about shinai, that is why we are changing shinai to Fukuru Shinai which are covered in leather and are much more heavy.

It is funny you should mention this point as I am just studying Videos on the web sites of historical fighters and, I do not like what I find, even in my own Salle, so I have given it a lot of thought and I am devising a system in order to teach how to learn to fight more historically with what ever weapon you use. I will be offereing seminars in this system soon (3 months or more).

One thing you cannot see on the web site is part of this system. We use a system called "Slow Sparring" (I think first devised by Luca Porzio who wrote the Vadi book with Greg Mele). This improves instictive combat perception and changes the mode of thinking which is missing in most peoples attempt to "Play at fast speeds". When my copmplete system is finished I would be happy to show everyone.

Maybe I show it first at Dijon.

I have always used steel weapons in free fighting at very high speeds so I do know how to do it, it is just that many of my students have no experience so we have to build slowly to more real fighing. We must learn to walk before we run!
