Yo recomiendo el formato html, que permite verlo muy cómodamente en cualquier navegador, con enlaces a cada capítulo desde el índice, y que además permite ver las ilustraciones que trae y que son muy descriptivas. Además se baja en un momentito (solo ocupa 534 kb comprimido en formato zip).
Se trata de una edición inglesa de 1734 sobre un texto original francés. Está escrita en Inglés de la época, pero resulta muy parecido al inglés actual y es fácil de entender.

Respecto a su contenido, no soy quien para opinar al respecto puesto que soy un neófito en estos temas (aquí hay un velado reclamo de opiniones expertas que puedan haber leido este texto); lo que sí puedo decir es que me han llamado mucho la atención los apartados sobre la elección del florete (imagino que cuando hablan de la short sword harán referencia al florete de la época o a una versión de entrenamiento del espadín, al igual que en el manual de M.A. de Brea), así como las reflexiones finales acerca de la aplicación de las técnicas en duelos y en la vida cotidiana y también algún que otro consejo.DEDICATION.
