Con el link de gallica me acabo de dar cuenta de que el libro de palo de balbino cortés es un calco del Leboucher

Hi!
How are you?
I'm looking at "Diestro Italiano", I would like to have a XVII-XVIII spanish dictionary in order to understand some old word.
In Italy we have Accademia della Crusca ancient association that put on line different dictionaries since 1612:

Is there something similar in Spain? Or is there a digitalized dictionary in some library?
I looked at Real Academia Española web-site but the dictionary is a modern one, at least it seems...

The oldest dictionary in spain is the "Tesoro de la lengua castellana o española (1611)" written by Sebastian de Covarrubias.

Hi Luca,
You have got dictionaries from 1726 in the website of the Real Academia Española. They are pseudo-digitalized so their use is quite friendly. I hope it would be useful.

Hi Edu,
thank you.
The link doesn't work and I can't find this 1726 dictionary. Where it is exactly in the site?
Should I search in the 23a edition which also has ancient words? Or these digitalized dictionaries are in another part of the site?
Thank you!
Luca

Here's one way to get at the older dictionaries on the site. Begin here:
http://buscon.rae.es/draeI/ . Click on OTROS DICCIONARIOS ACADÉMICOS. Click on the left-most icon at the top (the magnifying glass). Type in your search term and press the Enter key. Select the entry you want from the panel at the left.

Thanks Charles, it seems the other means is problematic depending on something in the browser version or setting (e.g., allows some version of java or perhaps activ-x or something), I've had that problem for a while...

Sorry for the link, I tried when I posted it, and it worked for me. Now it isn't working anymore...
As Charles Blair has said, you have to click "OTROS DICCIONARIOS ACADÉMICOS" (left bottom) and then the most left icon (search icon). Then you chose the oldest dictionary.
Thanks for the correction
